DO YOU HAVE IMPOSTER SYNDROME?
Do you you have imposter syndrome in your business or at work? The first think I want you to know is that this is quite normal.
The other day I saw a post by Alex Hormozi that said, “you feel like an imposter because you’re just not good enough at what you do yet” (I’m paraphrasing).
What he failed to explain was that imposter syndrome affects folks socialized as women more than men (54% vs. 38% according to an article).
You feel like an imposter because you were socialized to doubt your abilities.
You second guess yourself because you were conditioned to do so.
It makes total sense that you think you need lots of certifications in order to feel like a “good coach”.
When you have imposter syndrome, you might be think that you need lots of evidence that you can deliver the results to your clients, even when you have that loads of testimonials from past clients.
The truth is, you’re good enough now, but you have to practice believing that daily.
The way to practice a belief is by saying it to yourself and feeling it in your body.
What you know now is worth thousands if not millions of dollars. One of the most pervasive beliefs women have is that what they know isn’t valuable enough. If you struggle to believe in the value of the work you offer, practice believing that your brain is worth a lot of money.
When you feel like a fraud, you won’t sell your services powerfully, and you’ll end up underearning.
I help my clients cure their imposter syndrome forever, so they can get back to making more money, faster.
